Gay writer and adventurer who was known for his engrossing travel/adventure writings and stunts. His attempt to sail across the Pacific Ocean in a Chinese Junk ultimately cost him his life (he disappeared at sea and was never seen again). Gay architect William Alexander Levy built the “Hangover House” for Halliburton and Halliburton’s lover Paul Mooney in 1938.
