Meet Julian – Our New Marketing Coordinator

If life is about the journey and not the destination, then Julian Marks was traveling alone on a two lane highway through the desert for a while. Having done the bicoastal thing a couple of times and generally unsatisfied with his life, Julian settled back into New York with a desk job in financial services. Serendipitously, he was laid off a few months later and is now a part of the TIM family as our social media coordinator and customer service associate. That desert landscape has given way to cool breezes and community.

Commenting on his childhood, “I grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles, and even in elementary school I knew I didn’t want to be there,” said Julian. “Books and movies and, later on, sex became my escape. I was the quiet kid with the filthy mind.”

Outside of work you will find Julian sipping on rye while reading (his favorite genre is biography), seeking out good Mexican food in NYC, talking his friends through their latest crises, and generally enjoying his new life. He considers the public park the second most important development in civilization.

Julian has an extensive background in writing and useless information. He is excited to learn what he can and is eager to please. “I’m learning a lot from Mitch. I appreciate his goal of fostering a place where like minded men can come together,” says Julian. “I like that I’m a part of the vanguard of the new sexual revolution.” Viva la revolución!
