Openly bisexual Austrian actor, Helmut Berger abandoned his family’s hospitality business to study acting and language. Berger’s lover Luchino Visconti gave him his first acting role, and later cast him in his film The Damned (1969). As a celebrity, Berger is known as an eccentric with a penchant for drugs and sex. He has claimed affairs with numerous celebrities including Mick Jagger, Tab Hunter, and Linda Blair. 

Berger primarily worked in European cinema, but made notable appearances in TV’s Dynasty (1983) and Francis Ford Coppola’s  The Godfather Part III (1990).
