“Sex and the many ways of experiencing it are beautiful and should be celebrated,” says Ivan Sobris, the filmmaker behind a new movie putting gay sex squarely in the realm of art.
Ivan is the creator of Les Retrouvailles (The Reunion), a cinematic porn film which won the backing of Treasure Island Media’s founder Paul Morris.
Now it’s been selected for both the Berlin and San Francisco Porn Film Festivals, plus the Seattle Erotica Cinema Society’s SECS Fest.
Les Retrouvailles tells the story of Enol and James, former lovers who reunite years after their breakup. The reason for the end of their relationship? Something which has frustrated many of us from time to time…
“They broke up because James used to always cum first, which was very frustrating for Enol,” said Ivan.
“But with time people change… I think I managed to make a funny short film with some very hot porn.
“I hope people will have a laugh watching it, and blow a big load. The way I film is quite intimate. James and Enol really had a great fuck and I think it really shows. It’s very hot.”
The film was produced by Paul Morris as part of his project to help young filmmakers – especially those who work honestly with male sexuality like Treasure Island Media does.
“Creating the film was an enjoyable experience, except we shot it in the middle of winter and the house had been unoccupied for a while,” Ivan added.
“It was freezing and we had to stop shooting sometimes so Enol and James could warm up a bit. We had a great time otherwise – shooting porn is always fun.”
