Music for something new

I’m working on something new which will be posted here eventually. Not sure what form it will take (keeping options wide open so far), but I hope it’s going to include music in some way. These are some ideas for it, banged out at the piano. The idea for these was to parody TV soap opera and melodrama music from the 80s and 90s, but not as a total piss-take. I want it to be something that could function as incidental music or as themes, but also be kitsch. I’m not really sure why.

These are basic musical ideas, and if any of them are used then I hope I’d be able to arrange them for different instruments, or at least record a better version on piano.

Did you spot Norman Bates peeking out from the bottom of the screen? Not deliberately placed, but I’m taking his presence as a good omen.
